Boring. Your opinion is your opinion, fair enough. But how about we get behind the team, manager and players, not unfairly put down someone who has brought the most success to this club in god knows how many years and has put blood and sweat into the cause. |

SB has shown his limitations this year. Didn;t replace Savage and too reliant on injury prone players and money wasted on Pandiani. The board are also to blame for spending 2 much time on a bloody casino that was never going to happen. SB out Dowie in |

Mike yes i went today, whats that got to do with anything. And he hasn't exactly had a lot to spend tbh. Our most expensive summer was when we payed a total of £5.5m up front, we still haven't fully paid Heskey's fee. We have no divine right to be avoiding relegation, but saying that, with the squad we have we should be doing a bit more in terms of league positions. |

In any rational world there will be a vacancy in a matter of days. Steve Bruce is finished as manager of this club, as hundreds of supporters and their families weigh up the devestating prospect of his brand of hoofball being sent to a Championship club near you next season, against their support for the club they love. The board, will I am sure, allow Bruce the opportunity to start next season in the same vein he has finished this one. Such folly will be the most colossal mistake, both financially and from a footballing viewpoint. I will no longer back a managerial team and playing staff that have singularly failed to perform anywhere near their real potential. The message amongst a significant proportion of this club's support to the board is, "change the product, because we ain't buying". Who the new manager is, is their problem. Just make sure we don't go into next season with the current one. BRUCE OUT. |

Do you really want this clown in control of any possible summer budget, given his track record? I know I dont!! Last game of the season, we'll already be down... Bruce out......... |

If we drop a division, we may as well gamble on somebody new. Clough, maybe with KK as his sidekick. |

Scoring goals at the blues has always been our Achilles heal I don’t think anyone has got over 20 in a season apart from Gleghorn many years ago. What ever division we were in at the time under achievement has all blurred into one. I would like to SB to keep his job after watching dross after dross in years gone by I think the bloke deserves a chance to get us back up. Anyway who are we going to bring in? A top class quality manager from abroad? I’m sure they will all be flocking to the post. Given no money to spend but expected to participate in the annual this is an exciting time for blues with many big name singing so people need to renew their season tickets now before you miss out. Next season championship football for £400 upwards the word sucker comes to mind. I cannot believe people are mentioning Kegan I thought his trouble was not handling the pressure. So why would he make a good manager fro us? There again you may have inferred Cunningham a bloke with no managerial experience. As for Clough a bloke living in his fathers shadow and managing in armature league. How can he help us? |

Chris do you live in the real world? - Do you read newspapers? - Do you listen to the radio? All clubs, bar one, pay by installments - The exception? I'll let you work that out. Paying massive transfer fees in one lump is beyond them means of most teams - Even Man U are paying for Rooney over a period. Just tell me where you think our board has all this ready cash????? - Under a mattress? |

I agree. A totally fresh approach, A complete clean sweep starting with all the coaches (I've never been comfortable with Spink in our Dug Out) and the Physios. Watford brought in a virtually unknown Leeds coach, Adrian Bothroyd and he has transformed them. If we drop, we need someone who knows the sort of players we'll be in the market for, young, hungry and with pace. If Bruce remains we'll be signing ageing Ex-Prem players looking for a last pay day. We must look at it in the summer and make sure we make the right choice. |

simple fact chris 1875 , no one was calling for Bruces head 2 years ago, however 18 months of pure **** football , shocking tactics, bad buys , dictates the current climate fact is , Bruce will lead us back down, this is a result driven business, and it happens to the best, time to move on and plan for the future.........without Steve |

How about the team, manager and players actually show some bottle, some spirit, some battle and re-pay the faith that the fans have put in them by going without so that they can pay for their vastly overpriced season tickets? Meanwhile these people that we should show blind loyalty too drive their Bentleys, Porches, Ferraris and whatever else to and from the training ground for a couple of hours of 'work' a day whilst the majority of Blues fans are slogging away in a factory for 12 hours a day just to put dinner on the table. How about the players apologize for the lack of guile and offer up a couple of weeks wages apiece to make sure that they have some supporters to back them in the biggest uphill task since uphill tasks were invented? How about the players and manager come to a forum and explain to the ST holders just why they lack the umpf to go into a 50/50 tackle and ask them just why they seem happy enough to plod on through this miserable season showing "fight" as Brucey puts in when 25,000 in the stands can't see one ounce of it week in, week out. I'm one of the lucky ones. I can't afford the £400 to watch Blues in any division and when I see the current Blues playing staff on TV in their fancy cars or read interviews in the Blues mag about favourite holiday destinations etc, etc, it makes me feel sick because they're not deserving. I'm fed up of Premiership football. I'm fed up of football in general. The game has been ruined beyond all meaning and there's absolutely no way of dragging it back - although that's a whole other thread and a whole other tangent - probably sponsored by Flybe so that we can bring in another superstar who'll play 10 games a season and retire into his mansion at age 32. Hacked off. |

I agree, he is walking on Eggs with Ken Bates there. My Brother-in-law is a Leeds fan. Blackwell isn't rated up there. He was given a new contract 8 games ago - BUT they haven't won since. However, they are in the Play-Offs - Mirrors the Alan Pardew position last year <_< If we go down, I'd go for a young hungry manager who knows the lower divisions. We need a fresh approach and a massive clear out in the summer. |

There's only one man I would want, Alan Curbishley, and by all reports he's ready to consider his future with Charlton, irrespective of wether he gets the England job, He would be the man to rebuild us. **thumbup |

"Hasn't had alot to spend" He has had plenty to spend and wasted it on players like Gronkjaer, Pandiani, Forssell (Who failed a medical at Everton then we sign him?), Heskey (Should be scoring plenty more) Nicky Butt (Has been) And probally more, so I dont understand what you mean by "hasn't had alot to spend". |

pfft haha lol. No chance. Why would a possible England manager want to go into the Championship!? He has a huge list of possible challanges in front of him. England if he wants it or he could try and get Charlton higher up the league and maybe into Europe or I'm sure most other teams in the Premiership would love to have him! |
